The company INA MAZIVA d.o.o. uses about 500 m3 of sanitary water per month on its location, while its annual consumption reaches up to 6000 m3. The project/innovation would enable the company to produce its own sanitary water in the required quantities and in line with legal quality requirements. By producing its own sanitary water, Maziva will significantly decrease water supply expenses, as well as ensure a safe and continuous supply of sanitary water in the necessary quantities. The company has its own well with the capacity to withdraw more than 300,000 m3/yr of raw water suitable for drinking; by applying a simple filtration and chlorination process, it can produce sanitary water for general uses from this water source. In addition to the well, the company has the appropriate infrastructure for the distribution of sanitary water, which means that the project could be implemented with minimal interventions in the existing infrastructure.

The company has a water source at its disposal, as well as the necessary distribution infrastructure, production area, and the ability to manage and control water production and treatment processes. With these resources at its disposal, the company meets all the requirements necessary to introduce a new process: production of sanitary water.
