The Tansa Educational Apiary

The Tansa Educational Apiary is a place of experiential learning and also serves a social purpose. The honey and all the bee products made here are not only for the children of Paradis, but are also available for sale. The money raised will be donated to charitable causes to support children facing difficulties or social problems. The beehives were painted by Paradis students as part of the “Nikola Tesla” Creative Science Fair.

”The Pharmacy in the Apiary” produces:

• Honey with ginger and lemon
• Honey ointment

The primary school students contributed to the creation of this ideal habitat for bees. The Tansa Educational Apiary is located in a clean, unpolluted environment, offering excellent conditions for the development of bee colonies. The area boasts rich biodiversity, surrounded by an acacia forest, pine and linden plantations, fruit orchards, as well as fields of lavender, roses, and carpets of dandelions. This variety of plants ensures a steady harvest throughout the season and guarantees the quality and diversity of the honey goods produced. Visits to the apiary help students develop practical skills, observational skills, and respect for the environment. They have the opportunity to directly observe the bees’ perfect social organization, the pollination process, and the biology of the surrounding plants.
