Red spider mite is considered the most serious pest in young citrus nurseries and plantations around the world, as Vietnam. Since management of red spider mite is based primarily on the use of insecticides, the first time, a study was developed to use biological approaches. This study indicated that the combination formation of Bt+ Bb+ mannose-binding lectin was effective against red spider mites. In field trials, the combination formation was highly effective against red spider mites on the farm.
