A prototype of a transport system has been built for the delivery and sorting of working items based on the barcode or QR code using a visual system. The delivery of products via a conveyor belt, and their sorting based on different properties is a very common task on automatic production lines. The technology of marking and recognising different objects has long been known, and one of the most widely used means of marking products intended for automatic identification is with the barcode or QR code, which is simply read using a photo diode reader or decoder, though its use requires the engagement of an operator. Using a camera to record objects on the conveyor belt and sorting based on specified product properties has been achieved with this automated sorting process.
