One of the treatments for diabetes is by controlling postprandial hyperglycemia by preventing α glucosidase activity, which can be analyzed by in silico, namely by molecular docking. We tested benzamide compound found in Vernonia amygdalina delile plant and concluded that the benzamide alkaloid compound has the potential to inhibit α glucosidase in patients with diabetes.
