P.S. is a concept of a rocket system that is intended to deflect commets and asteroids out of trajectory to Earth.

The P.S. rocket system is designed as a one big rocket carrying hundred smaller rockets.

The smaller rockets (Darts) have a pointy metal tip (similar to the one in cartoon cow on the moon), and the metal tip is used as an shock absorber and a connector. When the dart “connects” to the object it throttles up the engine to full gas and by doing so slightly moves the object from its trajectory.

If one dart fails, others are sent, and if there are no darts left, the big rocket brakes its shell, uncovering that it also has a pointy shock absorber, and the big rocket than hits the object in the last try.

To be safe, at least 12 of these rockets should be placed in various orbits arround the Sun so we can intercept objects from multiple directions.

If given number of darts sucseed in deflectiong of an object from its trajectory, the remaining darts and the big rocket continue orbiting the Sun for new missions.

Only Mission: 2 Save planet Earth.
