We are displaying IRD uniforms with individualized information, which are recognized by an infrared camera. The uniforms are designed as dual computer graphics. In the visible spectrum, the uniforms are equal, but they all differ from each other when we observe them with a detector for the first part of the near-infrared region; called Z. The same effect manifests itself both during the day and at night. The printing on the canvas is done digitally, with a special Z information associated to each individual uniform. With our computer software, two images are pulled from memory and joined together just before being sent to the printing process.
The IRD uniform brings new value in the security field. The hidden image is also recognized with a conventional video surveillance camera, called V. At the INOVA 23 exhibition, our cameras for separate but parallel observation in the visual and infrared spectrum are demonstrated. Prototypes of uniforms with the design of two independent computer graphics V and Z, which are integrated in the same place, are also shown. The use of such individualized clothing is recommended for risky gatherings, sports events, and even for a walk with a group of people or children.
