This technical solution is created in order to facilitate and speed up the process of organizing the retail network by defining the desired number of smaller organizational units, so-called Retail Areas (RA) and the inclusion of Retail Sites (RS) in these Retail Areas according to predefined criteria. The tool is made in Excel as a fast, cheap, functional and flexible solution for this purpose, and can also serve as a model for creating a dedicated application.
Basic features of the solution:
– Visualization of all Retail Sites on the map of the Republic of Croatia and interactivity
– All relevant data are in one document
– Data are connected and easily changeable
– All countable criteria are presented in the total amount and separately for different organizational groups of Retail Sites
– Creating different versions is simple and fast because the RS layout display is real, each change (versioning) gives an instant result, and the changed criteria values are automatically displayed to the user.
