A device was designed and built for improving boxing defense techniques, practicing the speed of reaction to a visual stimulus and the speed of movement itself. During the preparation for the match, boxers spend a lot of time on gaining physical condition, practicing punches and reaching the necessary level of strength, while defense is often neglected, which is equally important in building a complete trained boxer. Usually, defense is practiced with a trainer or with a sparring partner, so this kind of device allows the boxer to independently improve his motor skills, such as reaction speed, agility, strength, precision and endurance, which are crucial for successful boxing training. In order to plan the boxer’s training, form and health, it is necessary to combine various training methods that aim to simulate as closely as possible the conditions in which the athlete finds himself during the fight. The manufactured device can help the trainees to further develop their boxing skills.
