Anchor with movable arms, has four arms, and consists of movable and immovable part. Depending on the position of these elements, all arms the anchors can be in a folded position or separated from each other by 90 degrees, unfolded position.
Changing the position is simple and it is done by moving the movable part in relation to the non-movable part in the dependency about the desired position of the anchor arms – more and less folded. That’s it it is achieved by inserting a wedge into the desired opening on the fixed part.
This construction of the anchor significantly reduces the space required for placing the anchor, as well as the risk of injury.
On one side of the wedge, a thin rope must be connected, which follows the rope attached to the anchor lug. In the event that the anchor gets stuck on the bottom, by pulling a thin rope, the wedge is pulled out of the anchor, the arms are spread and the anchor is free to be pulled into the ship.
