The first horse-drawn tram entered service in New York in 1853. The world’s first electric tram was introduced in Berlin in 1881. Vintage tram No. 11 (an M-24 model) operated in Zagreb 98 years ago; it was restored about thirty years ago and has now been put back into service for a limited number of runs. Residents of Zagreb now have a special opportunity to experience riding this vintage tram every Sunday.

It had a top speed of 40 km/h and featured 12 seats along with standing room for 68 additional passengers.
