VIEWPOINT

Also known as the Kiosk, it was built between 1841 and 1843 based on a design by Franz Schücht. All its facades are identical. The terraces are enclosed by a wrought-iron lattice railing. The small tower on the third floor terminates in a triangular pediment, while Viennese architectural style is reflected in the detailing of the facades of the building’s cubic main structure. The viewing pavilion was restored by the “Maksimir” Public Institution in 2002.
