Use of Bifidobacterium Lactis GKK2 for improving allergic asthma

The present invention provides a strain of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GKK2, compositions comprising thereof, and their use for alleviating allergic asthma. The strain is utilized to reduce respiratory resistance, decrease serum levels of non-specific antibody IgE, decrease serum levels of specific antibody IgE, attenuate bronchial constriction, and enhance the content of glutathione reductase (GSH reductase) in hepatic tissue fluid, aiming to ameliorate allergic asthma.
