This work enables a new level of traffic light operation.

The work consists of traffic lights for pedestrians and cars, a counter that counts down the period of red and green light, an LCD screen that displays additional instructions for pedestrians and drivers, and buttons that will allow pedestrians to speed up their crossing of the road. When the button is pressed, the green light directed to the cars will pass faster.

To save energy, we have installed a photoresistor that turns off the traffic light when it gets dark and the yellow light flashes, indicating that the traffic light is not working. The operation enables the saving of electricity.
