This laser engraver is made from old CD-ROMs. The housing was completely independently designed in AutoCad and printed on a 3D printer. It is driven by an Arduino nano, and the stepper motors are driven by two A4988 drivers. The laser has a power of 250mW, which is enough for engraving in wood and for cutting paper and foil. The power supply is 5V and 12V (direct current), whose housing is also completely printed on a 3D printer. To transfer the image, we use the program Laser GRBL, which we installed on the laptop and connected to the Arduino nano.
