The self-balancing robot maintains its position using a gyroscope, based on the principle of a reverse swing to maintain stability. It is equipped with two electric motors that enable it to keep its balance while moving backward and forward. It can further be upgraded to perform other tasks while balancing, making it very useful due to its light structure and universal functionality.
