It is a system of smart sensors that inform the driver that there is a pedestrian near the crosswalk. There is a smart sensor/camera for motion detection on the pedestrian crossing sign, which when it sees a pedestrian near the pedestrian crossing, activates the light signaling on the pedestrian sign panel and starts flashing, thus notifying the driver.
