The smart bicycle suspension system is based on an ESP32 microcontroller, an ADXL345 sensor, two MG996R motors, and an 18650 battery power supply. Using a tilt sensor, the system detects the bike’s orientation and riding dynamics, automatically adjusting suspension stiffness to ensure a more stable and comfortable ride. In addition to the automatic mode, suspension stiffness can be adjusted manually via a mobile app or buttons on the system itself. A key feature of this innovation is the integration of sensor electronics, the microcontroller, motor control, and mobile control into a functional system that allows the bicycle to adapt to various riding conditions.
