Car batteries used to start a motor vehicle (automotive 12V) are power sources that must produce a very high current (hundreds of amperes) in just a few seconds (engine start time) without causing a significant drop in the power source voltage (3 to 4V maximum).
They cannot be tested using traditional universal instruments. We constructed an innovative measuring device that simulates real-life conditions. The load time and the size of the output current can be adjusted.
The results are displayed digitally.
