Plantagotchi

A smart plant pot that enables the monitoring of essential microclimatic conditions required for a plant’s proper growth and development. Using built-in sensors, the system measures air temperature and humidity as well as soil moisture, displaying the collected data on a screen in real time. This allows the user to easily track the plant’s condition and take timely action if watering or adjustments to the environment are needed. Plantagotchi was created by combining the concepts of a plant and a virtual pet that requires regular care. The system encourages the user to care for the plant in a more active and engaging way by providing clear feedback on its needs.
