The proposed method consists of the fabrication of scaffold structures for major bone defect repair, based on monophasic (hydroxyapatite – HAP) or biphasic (hydroxyapatite + tricalcium phosphate – α-TCP or β-TCP) ceramics, which fulfill the product requirements related to mechanical strength and biocompatibility.
