The invention refers to a device integrated into the domestic hot water pipe of a wall-hung boiler, equipped with an automatic measurement, control, and command system, designed to eliminate water losses during the transient heating phase, when the temperature is not yet suitable for consumption. The device is activated upon detecting flow in the hot water pipe, triggered by the opening of a tap. Its operation depends on the proper start-up of the pump (P), which initially circulates water through a test pipe (2) to verify the pressure regime. If the regime is within parameters, the discharge is switched to the recirculation pipe (1). After reaching the temperature suitable for consumption, circulation is directed through the wall-hung boiler, and the device is deactivated. The amount of water saved is proportional to the number of boiler start-ups from a cold state and varies depending on the type of boiler, the cold-water temperature, and the user’s behavior.

TECHNICAL PROBLEM ADDRESSED:

Wall-hung boilers without storage lose a certain amount of water at each start-up because the initial water is not hot enough for use. The invention proposes an automatic water recirculation solution until the operating temperature is reached, thereby reducing unnecessary water consumption and increasing the efficiency of the domestic hot water preparation system.
