The invention relates to the production of a material with sound-absorbing properties using sheep’s wool and rigid biocomponent polyurethane foam as raw material and the obtaining process. Were obtained materials composed of three layers. A layer of sheep wool previously processed by hot pressing, a layer of rigid bi-component polyurethane foam and a transition layer, resulting from the migration of polyurethane foam during the multilayer panel manufacturing process into the wool layer and/or the migration of wool into the polyurethane foam layer.
