MAKABI (Small Capsule for a Big Plant) is an innovative, biodegradable microcapsule developed to facilitate transplanting and accelerate the initial growth of plant crops. The microcapsule contains slow-release nutrients, growth biostimulants, and mycorrhizal fungi that improve water and nutrient uptake. The capsule structure includes porous moisture retention layers that reduce evaporation and ensure a consistent supply of roots in the critical first weeks after planting. The material gradually decomposes, enriching the soil with organic matter and beneficial microbiota. The modular design allows adaptation to different seedling sizes and soil types, making the product suitable for nurseries, horticulture, urban green projects, and commercial plantations. The application reduces the seedling mortality rate, reduces the need for frequent watering and additional feeding, and improves conditions for long-term rooting. Pilot tests and formulation optimization for specific species are planned to ensure maximum efficiency and sustainability under various environmental conditions.
