A prototype of an electromagnetic tubular photoreactor for continuous catalytic and photocatalytic processes using magnetic catalysts has been developed. The system employs two powerful electromagnets with adjustable magnetic field strength (10–100%) and polarity switching frequency (1–40 Hz), enabling controlled oscillation of magnetic nanoparticles, reduced aggregation, and enhanced mass transfer without increased pressure drop. The device features adjustable magnet spacing to accommodate tubular reactors of different diameters and PWM-controlled LED light sources (UVA, UVB, UVC, and VIS) for precise irradiation control. The system operates in milli-scale dimensions and is designed for process intensification and scaling via a numbering-up approach, including parallel integration of multiple reactor channels within a single module.
