This paper considers the behavior of granular materials under the influence of external vibration. In particular, the problem is a large amount of waste in separating rocks of different fractions. This problem leads to an increase in the amount of extracted rocks and the price of the final product. As a consequence, excessive amounts of unused rock form additional waste heaps and lead to pollution of areas, which exacerbates environmental problems in mining regions. This work aims to collect the separated material in special zones that arise due to particle flows, which can improve the quality of separation and reduce the fraction of the separated rock. The hypothesis is that the action of vibration on the granular medium creates fluxes that move in a certain way depending on the parameters of the system.
