The growth of innovation in the West Region of Romania (Timis County) can be achieved by establishing and operationalizing a Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer within the Polytechnic University of Timisoara. The purpose of establishing this CITT is to provide support to innovation and technology transfer entities in areas of intelligent specialization, namely: Information and communication technologies, space and security, Eco-nano-technologies and advanced materials and Energy, environment and climate change.
