A mock-up of the vessel was designed and built with an integrated stabilization system using a gyroscopic device to reduce the side roll of the ship. In today’s maritime industry, ship stabilization plays a key role in ensuring passenger comfort and cargo safety, as well as improving the vessel’s handling and carrying capacity. One of the possible ways of stabilizing the ship is the use of gyroscopic stabilizers. Gyroscopes are devices that use the principle of conservation of moment of inertia to maintain the stability and orientation of a vessel or spacecraft. As part of this project, an efficient system for stabilizing the vessel was developed, which uses an actively controlled gyroscopic device to reduce the inclination of the boat due to the action of waves or lateral forces.
