Features of morphogenesis of the eyeball of tailless amphibians on the examples of Pelophylax ridibundus (Marsh frog)

Using microscopy and measurement methods and samples of transverse sections of the Pelophylax ridibundus individual it was studied the formation and the development of particular eye structures on the gradual stages of development of the Marsh frog. The overall picture of the morphogenesis of an eyeball was described and analysed.
