The Escape Room video game, in which the task is to “escape from the school”, can be played on PC as a real character or on a VR device, such as META (OCULUS) QUEST 3.

Given that VR is still very young, playing an Escape room in VR is the closest you can get to playing in a real Escape room.

The game engine “UNITY” and the C# programming language were used to create the game, and the game was modeled after SŠER and school classrooms.

As the game is called “Escape from school”, the problems that need to be solved are also adapted to solving school problems, and the game is most suitable for students of electrical engineering schools.

In the game in VR mode, innovation has added the possibility of writing with chalk as you would write in the real world. A menu that pops out of the open palm as a Display has also been created.

When playing in VR mode, there is a possibility to adjust the gameplay through various menus. And the game can be played using continuous movement which is like in real life (but can create a feeling of nausea) or by “jumping” where this is prevented.

Only a couple of school problems were used in the game, which of course could be expanded indefinitely by using databases containing various school problems or tasks that could be adapted to students of various majors and classes.

This game could be used as a learning aid or to test knowledge. What would cause students greater satisfaction when solving.
