A functional electronic circuit that allows controlling LED lighting using sound. The system is based on the recognition of sound pulses (e.g. applause), which are detected by a microphone sensor. The input signal is then processed by an Arduino Uno microcontroller, which turns on the appropriate LED, depending on the number of pulses detected.
The project combines knowledge from electronics, programming and printed circuit board manufacturing. Two printed circuit boards were made in the work: one for the LED output circuit, and the other for the input circuit with a microphone and preamplifier. The LEDs are sewn into the fabric, and all connections are protected by heat-shrink tubing.
