Efficiency of rehabilitation of soldiers with amputations of the lower limbs with the help of animals

This invention introduces the use of therapy dogs in physical rehabilitation of military amputees. For the first time, objectively proven physiological effects are demonstrated through perfusion index and functional mobility tests. The method reduces physical pain, accelerates recovery, and can be integrated into standard rehabilitation protocols.
