The proposed hybrid exoskeleton and FES (Functional Electrical Stimulation) device supports combined motions at the entire arm level and aims to aid in the recovery of primary arm control in stroke patients.

Based on a kinematic model of the upper limb and the planned placement of electrodes to deliver Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), the exoskeleton has been designed to ensure: Ease of donning and doffing, Anatomical adaptation, and An actuation system capable of generating the required torques.
