CONVERSION OF DARK SAPPHIRE TO BLUE SAPPHIRE ( GEM AND GEOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGIES)

Dark sapphire, when subject to heat, the conversion to Blue sapphire occurs.  This is a reverse heat treatment system.The bond structure of this gemstone is not affected due to the use of rice and calcium carbonate . This method is based on electrons absorbing energy from the Sunlight to jump to higher electron levels, thus causing a color change.
