The project presents an advanced mechatronic system designed to stabilize objects within an airflow using a PID controller. Utilizing the accessible Arduino platform, an ultrasonic sensor, and a centrifugal fan, the system detects spatial changes and instantly adjusts the position of a levitating ball. The solution’s primary advantage lies in its exceptional precision and energy efficiency when managing non-linear aerodynamic forces. Beyond the visually striking levitation effect, the system offers significant utility as an affordable educational and experimental tool in the fields of automation, robotics, and industrial process control. The combination of eco-friendly materials (spruce wood) and modern electronic components renders the device robust, modular, and ready for practical application in laboratories and schools.
