A NEW DIMENSION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE

The “New Dimension of Cultural Heritage” project represents a revolutionary approach to learning Glagolitic and Latin script through the integration of three key aspects that complement each other and enrich learning in a completely new way.

The first aspect of the project is GLEE (Glagolitic Latin Educational Experience), an innovative didactic aid that combines entertainment and education to facilitate the simultaneous learning of Latin and Glagolitic letters. GLEE consists of alphabet tiles for both letters and is made on a 3D printer, combining the latest technology with Croatian cultural heritage and ancient science. This aspect enables interactive learning in a way that encourages engagement and acquisition of knowledge in an efficient and interesting way.

Another aspect of the project is the didactic Glagolitic puzzle, which provides children with a creative and interactive experience in learning Glagolitic. This puzzle, also made using a 3D printer, encourages the development of fine motor skills in children and enables interactive play between two children. Through this aspect, children not only learn Glagolitic, but also develop cooperation and problem-solving skills.

The third aspect of the project is the cards with the writing of elements in Glagolitic script, designed in .stl format for 3D printing. These cards enable the practical application of what has been learned in the real world, connecting tradition with modern technologies. Through interactive application in reality, children can understand Glagolitic more deeply and see its application in everyday life.

Through all these aspects, the “New Dimension of Cultural Heritage” project creates an innovative and comprehensive experience in learning Glagolitic that not only educates, but also inspires children, connecting them with Croatian cultural heritage in a modern and relevant way.
