The innovation is a didactic aid in the teaching of vocational subjects, the profession of mechatronics engineer. With the help of a traffic intersection model, students are introduced to the basics of programming a programmable logic controller (PLC) in the management of a traffic intersection. The traffic lights on the intersection model were made using 3D printing.
