The automated blueberry packaging machine is designed as an innovative solution for small producers and farmers who want to increase the efficiency and precision of the fresh fruit packaging process. The machine concept provides for a fully automated workflow; blueberries are automatically delivered to a dosing system, where a predefined quantity is precisely measured and filled into each PET container. The system includes a conveyor belt, linear vibrating conveyors, a digital scale and sensors that ensure the accuracy and repeatability of the mass of a given container. The machine is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC), which allows for easy parameter adjustment and monitoring of the entire process. Special attention has been paid to adapting the machine to smaller batches, thus making it accessible and cost-effective for users with limited production capacities. The machine is designed so that it can also be adapted for packaging other types of small fruits or vegetables.
