The situation in Malaysia is that most teachers teach based on the existing curriculum and give priority to memorizing facts and copying notes and making exercises in a more examination -oriented teaching process. The purpose of this concept paper is to master Tamil vocabulary and build sentences based on the meaning of basic words in SJK (T) by using Sorkuviam technique. Vocabulary is a widely used vocabulary in oral, reading and writing skills. Based on the Curriculum and Assessment Standard Document (DSKP). As a result of the findings, it can be expected that Sorkuviam can be used as an additional activity in mastering vocabulary and building vocabulary correctly. Not only that, with Sorkuviam, it helps to facilitate teachers and students to strengthen the understanding of the words built. It is also one of the important aspects in producing a balanced human being who is ready to face the challenges of the 21st century also encourages students to refer to the dictionary in the process of finding the meaning and significance of a vocabulary.
