The liquid organic fertilizer coulter is designed for the application of organic fertilizers in row crops such as maize, sugar beet, and potatoes. Organic fertilizers often produce unpleasant odors during field application. The proposed solution enables fertilizer placement directly into deeper soil layers, close to plant root systems, while simultaneously covering the applied fertilizer with soil. This approach minimizes odor emissions, reduces nitrogen losses, and improves nutrient utilization by plants. Small holes created by specially designed fingers mounted on a star wheel facilitate the placement of fertilizer in the immediate vicinity of the root zone, enhancing nutrient availability and application efficiency.
