AS-DR (Automatic System for Absorbing Radiation and Reducing Its Damage)

AS-DR is a smart wearable  or inserted system that serves both patients and radiology workers. It integrates three radiology fields . The system absorbs ionizing radiation, act as a biological shield! harvests energy, and uses biosensors to monitor exposure in real time. This invention addresses the problem of the effects of the radiation dose within the patient’s body after imaging or radiation therapy sessions, which produces free photons that may cause cumulative tissue damage.
