Device for removing oil from the water surface

A new method is proposed for oil cleanup: installing a device that uses a fine-pored polyurethane foam sponge. This material, either untreated or treated with silicone, allows for the  cyclical, mechanical removal of oil from water surfaces. This installation provides a viable, environmentally friendly, and economically sound solution to a long-unresolved problem.
