ANTIFUNGAL GEL BASED ON COLLAGEN, CLAY AND ESSENTIAL OIL AND ITS PRODUCTION PROCESS

The gel based on methylcellulose, collagen hydrolyzate, yellow clay and essential oil with antifungal properties was created as a treatment for bovine trichophytosis, a contagious skin condition caused by dermatophyte fungi. The gel has adequate rheological properties for easy application to the affected area due to its controlled viscosity; also the essential oil with antifungal properties released from the yellow clay has the property to destroy the pathogenic fungus Trichophyton verrucosum, and the collagen to regenerate damaged skin and is recommended for veterinary use.
