After several years of research and development, ALTPRO has designed a new product in the field of vehicle safety systems – the RAS90DB automatic train stopping system. This latest version is fully adapted for Germany and their market, and was developed according to their specifications.
RAS90DB is an ATP system based on INDUSI PZB90 technology, designed to increase safety in railway traffic. The system consists of the RAS90 central unit, locomotive balise, track balise and signaling and control elements located in the locomotive cab.
Its key function is the automatic activation of braking in the event that the driver does not comply with safety regulations. The system continuously monitors the speed of the train and ensures that the permitted speed is not exceeded at any time.
In addition to the basic functionality, the RAS90 can be additionally equipped with advanced features such as a vigilance system, driver registration, event recording, speed monitoring, wheel lubrication and other options that increase the safety and reliability of the system.
