The burglar alarm is controlled by an Arduino UNO microcontroller, and consists of a magnetic sensor or switch, a distance (motion) sensor, and light and sound signaling. During the deactivated alarm, a green light-emitting diode (LED) lights up, and the magnetic sensor is closed. Opening the front door activates the magnetic sensor (open position) and turns on the red light-emitting diode (LED), which gives a signal for burglary and a speaker to create a danger signal in the environment. If the distance (motion) sensor is activated, which symbolizes a burglary through a window, sound and light signaling will also be activated. The model is applicable in buildings, houses, apartments, warehouses, shops, and the like.

Possible improvements include raising the level of controllability to control via smartphone.
