Hand weaving requires a good knowledge of the characteristics of textile materials, as well as great patience and concentration during work. However, despite this attention, errors are still present during the weaving process due to incorrect formation of warp threads, especially in more complex embroidery. Therefore, an electromechanical device controlled by a computer was designed and installed in the construction of a hand loom. On the computer to which this electromechanical device is connected via a converter, a special computer program is used to create a program – the sequence of raising and lowering the warp threads. During hand weaving, after each inserted and woven weft, it is necessary to press a button that sends a signal to the computer for a new weft, press the pedal to which the computer “hooks” the selected sheets with the loom rollers, creating a warp with a new arrangement of warp threads, and manually insert a new weft, perform the weft, release the pedal, creating a closed warp.
