The use of a fermented dairy product to reduce apoptosis of myocardial cells. The fermented dairy product was cultured by adding multispecies lactic acid bacteria to the dairy product, so that the fermented dairy product contains γ-aminobutyric acid and metabolism of lactic acid bacteria, wherein the fermented dairy product includes water, purple sweet potato, milk, starch hydrolyzing enzyme, proteolytic enzyme, glutamic acid and whey. And wherein the added lactic acid strains were multispecises LAB strains that contain L. acidophilus BCRC 14065, L. delbrueckii subsp. lactis BCRC 12256, L. gasseri BCRC 14691 and combinations thereof group.
