The impact of headphones use on ear health was researched. A questionnaire showed a high non-compliance with the safe headphones use rules. Audiometry revealed that using headphones on only one ear significantly affects hearing. Microbiota examination of the earphones demonstrated various bacteria and fungi on them. Corresponding recommendations were developed.
