At high speeds there is huge air resistance, and vacuum is created in the tubes to reduce the resistance. The segments are arranged in vacuum stations that suck air out of the train tube or tunnel. Wind energy is converted into vacuum directly by means of Venturi tubes, which greatly simplifies construction.
