Water mineralization and eutrophication are observed in the lakes. Certain species and groups of plants have disappeared from several lakes, there is a threat of shallowing, communities of Warnstorfia fluitans have appeared, which have never been found in the Carpathians. The process of formation of oligotrophic bogs is disturbed.
